Diabetes Support Group
Learn how to live well with Diabetes. It's a friendly and informal group, regular meetings with guest speakers. Meetings on Wednesdays 6-7:30pm at Dyneley Barn. No booking required. Dates for 2017 include: 29th March, 10th May, 14th June, 26th July, 6th September, 11th October & 22nd November. Fisher Patients Welcome.

Stroke Support Group
Are you a stroke survivor and interested in joining a local group with fellow survivors? The Skipton Stroke Support group meet on the 1st Thursday of every month 2-4pm at Dyneley Barn, Newmarket Street Skipton. Set up by Dyneley Volunteers & PPG members. Fisher Patients are welcome.  Cancer Support Centre


Cancer Support help people affected by a cancer diagnosis. They offer practical things like Information and Transport, as well as emotional support through our counselling and complementary therapies.
Our classes in art offer a welcome diversion for many, whilst our relaxation group offers an opportunity to unwind. These are a great way to meet other people who understand exactly what you are going through and to chat with others in a similar position.
All of our services are free to access.
Our Skipton Centre is open:
~ Tuesday 10am – 4pm
~ Wednesday 10am – 1.30pm
~ Thursday 10am – 4pm
~ Friday 10am – 1.30pm

Making Space provides specialist dementia care and support to hundreds of people across the country. The service can support you from early diagnosis right through to the later stages of dementia. They can support you to stay in your own home for as long as possible, helping you with daily living, personal care, keeping safe, and accessing local community groups and day services.

Pioneer Projects – Making Art Sessions.
